In 1983, the government of India established NBHM (National Board for Higher Mathematics) under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The main objective of NBHM is to develop the higher mathematics in the country.
In NBHM, there are various committees introduced, one out of them committees is mathematics Olympiad activity committee known as HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education).
HBCSE conducts the Mathematics Olympiad contests both at regional (Pre RMO and RMO) and national level (INMO) and it select a team for IMO (International Mathematics Olympiads) and organize their training, camps, faculties etc for the students in training camps.
There are six stages in Math Olympiad exam.

How To Prepare for Pre RMO and RMO Exams
To prepare Maths Olympiads exams, the following tips will help you in the preparation of the exams:
Tip 1: First of all, complete your whole syllabus of Class 8, 9 and 10.
Tip 2: Download some important study material PDF as given above, not all of the given PDF is necessary to download at a time just select any 2 or 3 of them at a time which you can understand easily and study them indepth concept of Maths and then study other.
Tip 3: Practice yourself and set time table for study the Maths Olympiads level concept apart from your school and coaching.
Tip 4: These EBooks PDF are not easy to learn as self-study. You must take help of your teachers.
Tip 5: At the time of paper in the examination hall, don’t remember about the solving method/techniques of the question that you solved, focus only on the concept only.
