Math Olympiad Notification 2019
NBHM (National Board for Higher Mathematics) introduced Math Olympiad (PRMO, RMO, INMO) program in India that leads to participate of Indian students in IMO (International Mathematics Olympiads). In this post, you will get full details of RMO notification.
For this program, HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education) organizes the Mathematics Olympiad exams and the training to the selected students.
For the training and selection for IMO, NBHM creates 26 regions all over India and each region has a Regional Coordinator (RC).
Stages of Math Olympiads Exams
Now, Maths Olympiad exam is a six stages of exams including training and camp. The full details of stages of Maths Olympiads exam is below.
Math Olympiad Stage 1 (Pre RMO)
In the first stage of Math Olympiad, there is an exam known as PRMO (Pre RMO – Regional Mathematics Olympiad) and it is organised by HCSE and it is conducted by MTA (Mathematics Teacher’s Association), Click Here to know the details of PRMO 2019.
Math Olympiad Stage 2 (RMO 2019 Notification)
After the first stage of Math Olympiad, RMO (Regional Mathematics Olympiad) will be scheduled and it is organised by HCSE.
Each regional coordinator (including coordinators of groups KV, CBSE and JNV) will receive the list of qualified students of PRMO 2019 by 15 September 2019 (Date may be vary). These students are eligible for RMO 2019.

RMO 2019 Notification

RMO 2019 Registration Dates
The RMO 2019 registration is starts from 1st October 2019 and it must be completed on or before 11 October 2019. All eligible candidates will have to register for the RMO 2019 examination. To register for RMO 2019, visit : https://secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/rmo/.
RMO 2019 Eligiblity
All qualified students of PRMO 2019 are are eligible for RMO 2019.
RMO 2019 Syllabus
The RMO syllabus is as below:
The major areas of the problems are
Number Theory,
Theory of Equations,
Inequalities,
Geometry,
Combinatorics.
The topics covered in these major areas are
Number System,
Arithmetic of Integers,
Geometry,
Quadratic Equations & Expressions,
Trigonometry,
Co-ordinate Geometry,
Linear Equations,
Permutations & Combinations,
Polynomials,
Inequalities,
Probability,
Finite Series,
Complex Numbers,
Graph Theory.
The syllabus does not include Calculus and Statistics. The problems under each topics involve high level of difficulty.

RMO 2019 Admit Card
The admit cards for the RMO 2019 exam can be downloaded from October 14, 2019. This will contain information about RMO 2019 Roll No, the exam center (except for KV/JNV students *) and instructions. The candidates must retain this RMO 2019 Roll No till INMO 2019 exam.
RMO 2019 Exam Date
The RMO 2019 exam will be conducted on 20 October 2019 from 13:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.
RMO 2019 Time Duration
The time duration of RMO 2019 exam paper is 3 hours (from 1 PM to 4 PM).
RMO 2019 Total Number of Questions Asked
In the RMO, there are total of 6 or 7 questions asked in the questions paper.
RMO 2019 Total Marks
In the RMO, the maximum marks is 102.
RMO 2019 Paper Pattern
In the RMO, the questions paper of subjective type. The students need to write the solutions of answer copy.
RMO 2019 Conducting Body
The RMO is conducted by HBCSE.
RMO 2019 Result Date
The result of RMO is declared in the month of December 2019.
Number of Qualifying Students in RMO
In the result of RMO, there are total of 35 students (30 boys and 5 girls) from each region will be qualified.
