CUET 2023 UG Notification
CUET (Common University Entrance Test) 2023 Notification is released by its conducting body NTA (National Testing Agency). The main purpose of this entrance exam is to check the eligibility of applicants for admission in UG and PG courses in central and states universities including Delhi University (DU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). If you are studying in class 12 and wants to get admission in top university then you must complete the CUET 2023 registration process and then start the CUET preparation according to its designed CUET syllabus.
About CUET Exam
From 2010 to 2020, a common entrance exam was conducted to take admission in undergraduate and postgraduate course in some universities and this exam was known as CUCET (Central University Common Entrance Test). But, from 2021, UGC (University Grants Commission) gives the permission to NTA to conduct this entrance exams and includes 43 central universities. Now, NTA changed the name of entrance exam as from CUCET to CUET. Since then, CUET provides a single exam window opportunity to students to take admission in central universities.
CUET UG 2023 Exam Dates
NTA announced online examination of CUET 2023 UG and it will be conducted from 21st May to 31st May 2023 (reserve dates 1 to 7 June 2023).
CUET UG 2023 Last Date
For CUET 2023 registration or CUET 2023 application form, its official web portal will be open from 9th February 2023 to 12th March 2023. So, CUET last date for registration and application form filling is 12 March 2023.
CUET UG 2023 Form Filling
CUET 2023 form filling is of three steps:
Step 1: You need to fill CUET UG 2023 Registration Form
Step 2: You need to fill CUET UG 2023 Application Form
Step 3: You need to pay CUET UG 2023 Examination Fee
CUET UG 2023 Registration Form
NTA releases the CUET 2023 registration portal on its official website, which is known as https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
To register for CUET 2023, you should follow the instruction as below.
Step 1: Go to Home Page of its official website.
Step 2: Click on Register button appearing on its Home page.
Step 3: A new page is loaded with CUET Information Bulletin. Download the Information Bulletin and read the given instruction on this website page and in information bulletin, before registering the CUET 2023 form.
Step 4: After reading the instruction carefully, Check the declaration and Click Proceed button.
Step 5: A registration form is loaded. From here on this page, fill your details properly.
Step 6: Enter candidate’s name. The candidate’s name should be same as in candidate’s class 10th certificate. If you enter any different name, your registration and admission will not be considered. So, make sure you fill the same name with same spelling as given in candidate’s class 10th certificate.
For example: if candidate’s name is “AMAR PRATAP SINGH”, then type candidate’s name as candidate’s name box shown as below.
Step 7: Enter candidate’s father name.
For example: if candidate’s father name is “RAM PRATAP SINGH”, then type candidate’s father name as father’s name box shown as below.
Step 8: Enter candidate’s mother name.
For example: if candidate’s mother name is “GEETA DEVI”, then type candidate’s mother’s name as mother’s name box shown as below.
Step 9: You can also enter guardian name also. But this is not mandatory.
Step 10: Enter candidate’s date of birth in DD-MM-YYYY format.
For example: if candidate’s date of birth is “01 January 2005”, then choose 01 from “Day” dropdown, January from Month dropdown and 2005 from “Year dropdown”.
Step 11: Select Gender as Male from dropdown.
Step 12: Select nationality as INDIAN if candidates is from India.
Step 13: Select Identity type from dropdown.
The identity can be PAN card, School ID Card, Passport, Voter ID, Ration Card with Photograph, Bank Passbook with Photograph, Driving License, Other Valid Govt Identity with Photograph.
If candidate has a PAN card, then select PAN card from the dropdown.
Step 14: If you select a PAN card from dropdown, then enter the candidate PAN card in “Valid Identification Number”.
Step 15: Now, enter candidate’s present address info one by one in the given boxes.
In this section, enter candidate’s house no, sub-locality, Locality, Country Pin code, and a valid email id and mobile number.
Step 16: Now, enter candidate’s permanent address is same as present address, then click on checkbox. If different, then enter candidate’s permanent address.
Step 17: Choose a strong password for login on dashboard section of CUET online portal. Select a security question and type its answer in answer box.
Step 18: At last step, enter the captcha and click on SUBMIT button.
Step 19: After submitting the CUET 2023 Application form, a new page “Review Page” is opened with the entered details.
Step 20: Kindly confirm the details about the candidate.
Click on check boxes and then click “Submit and Send OTP to Mobile”.
Step 21: A mobile OTP will be sent to entered mobile number. Enter the ask OTP in given box and enter the shown captcha number in the given box and finally click on “Submit” button.
Step 22: After this process, your CUET 2023 registration is now completed and a CUET (UG) 2023 application number is generated.
Now, click on “Continue Application Form” for CUET UG 2023 Application form filling.
CUET UG 2023 Application Form
After CUET UG 2023 Registration Form, you need to fill CUET UG 2023 Application Form.
CUET Application form is loaded with some of the given information.
Step 1: In the personal details, you need to select the “Category” of the candidate.
Select category as General/Unreserved, OBC NCL, SC, ST EWS, whichever is application, select from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Are you PwBD candidate? PwBD means “Persons with Benchmark Disabilities”.
If you are, then select YES otherwise NO.
Step 3: Now, select candidate’s father highest qualification.
Step 4: Select candidate’s father occupation from the dropdown menu.
Step 5: Similarly select candidate’s mother qualification and her occupation.
Step 6: Now, according to candidate’s family income, select the income from the dropdown.
Step 7: Are you twin? Select YES or NO from the dropdown.
Step 8: Select the candidate’s domicile state from the dropdown menu.
Step 9: Now, according to the candidate personal details, fill other options in CUET Application form.
Step 10: The check candidate’s present and permanent address. Now, you need to fill “Other Quota and Category” details whichever is applicable.
Step 11: Click on SAVE button to save these details in CUET Application form.
Step 12: Now, after clicking SAVE button, review your personal detail about the candidate.
Step 13: If you need to change anything in personal details or address, then click on Update Personal Form.
If everything is fine, then click “Proceed to Next Section”.
Step 14: In next page loaded, you need to select candidate’s Class 10th / Xth Educational Details.
Step 15: Similarly, you need to select candidate’s Class 12th / XIIth Educational Details and then click on SAVE button.
Step 16: Now, review the candidate’s educational details.
Step 17: If you need to change anything then update it otherwise click on “Proceed to Next Section”.
Step 18: On this step, you need to select your choice of CUET 2023 Examination Center.
Select any two centers nearest to your current location.
Step 19: Now, review your test centers.
If you need to change anything then update it otherwise click on “Proceed to Next Section”.
Step 20: Now, Select University Name and Select Program Name from the dropdown menu, and then click ADD button.
You need to select atleast one university and one program to move next section of CUET Application form.
Step 21: In my case, I am interested for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) with B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics.
So, select the university and program according to your choice.
Since each university has their own Eligibility, you can check them on given link.
You can select more than one university and program.
Step 22: If the selected university and program eligibility criteria is according to you, then you can proceed to next section.
Step 23: Now, review your selected university and program section.
If you need to change anything then update it otherwise click on “Proceed to Next Section”.
Step 24: On this step, you need to select Test paper details.
Step 25: In my case, I am interested for following CUET subjects.
So, select the subjects according to your program and university.
Step 26: Now, click on SAVE button.
Step 27: Review your selected subjects test paper.
If you need to change anything then update it otherwise click on “Proceed to Next Section”.
Step 28: Now, upload you photograph and signature.
Photo File Size: 10 kb to 200 kb
Photo File Format: .jpg or .jpeg
Signature File Size: 4 kb to 30 kb
Signature File Format: .jpg or .jpeg
Step 29: After uploading the candidates phot and sign, click on Proceed to Preview Section.
Step 30: On this step, you need to review your application form with given information.
Step 31: Scroll down the Review page.
Click on each check box and then click “Proceed to Payment”.
Step 32: Now, you need to confirm candidate’s email id. Then click on verify button.
Step 33: After verification, you will be redirected to CUET 2023 Registration Payment Fee.
In my case, there are five subjects selected, so my CUET Application fee will be of Rs. 1500.
You CUET application fee is according to your selected subjects.
You can pay the fee online mode from the given options.
After submitting the fee, you CUET 2023 Application form will be submitted and a PDF is generated with your details and fee, save this PDF for future reference.

Step 34: Download the CUET Registration form for future reference.

CUET UG 2023 Exam Paper Pattern
NTA made some changes in the exam patter of CUET last year and released a new paper pattern of CUET exam, which will be followed in 2023. According to updated CUET paper pattern, CUET exam paper divided in to four sections, in which two sections for language, one section for domain and other one is for general test.
All the questions will be MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).

CUET UG 2023 Medium of Examination
NTA conducts the CUET exam and its question paper is in 13 languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malyalam, Marathi, Gujrati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, Urdu).

Therefore, if you want to appear in CUET exam 2023, you must full fill the academic qualification for UG, PG and PhD programs as given above.
Most of the applicants are for CUET UG program, then the main eligibility criteria for CUET 2023 exam is those students studying in class 12th or 12th pass.
CUET UG 2023 Age Limits
NTA decides that there is NO age limit for the candidates, who wants to appear in CUET 2023 exam. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) – 2023 examination.
But, if some University / Institution / Organization has specific age criteria for the admission, then the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria for taking admission in that particular University / Institution / Organization.
CUET UG 2023 Admit Cards
NTA releases the CUET admit card just 10 to 15 before the CUET schedule exam dates. The CUET admit card will be downloaded from its official website of NTA CUET.

- Test Paper Opted.
- Question Paper Medium.
- Date of Examination.
- Slots.
- CUET exam center name.
- Reporting Time at CUET examination center.
